During my time at Shasta Beverages, I created a range of vibrant marketing assets that captured the brand's essence—colorful, fun, and energetic. My work spanned various formats, including illustrations for Instagram Stories and point-of-sale items like coupons, banners, ad sheets, tents, water barrels, and branded swag.
Shasta, a trusted beverage company since 1889, is a household staple, loved across generations. Keeping this legacy in mind, I designed assets that blended the brand’s nostalgic charm with a modern twist, bringing Shasta’s playful energy to life across each medium and making it resonate with both loyal customers and new audiences.
The sell sheet below was designed to promote a Shasta and NFL Alumni Association giveaway, inviting consumers to win a remote-control cooler truck signed by NFL Hall of Fame legends. With a grassy field background and prominent Shasta and NFL Alumni logos, the design captures a playful, game-day vibe. A bold red "GIVEAWAY" banner draws attention to the promotion, while organized sections provide essential details. The bright colors, clear headings, and thematic imagery create an engaging, sports-inspired look that encourages consumer interaction.
This vibrant Shasta-branded tent, created specifically for pop-up events in Salt Lake City, Utah, during the summer, is designed to engage with local consumers and bring a fresh, summery vibe with its sky-blue top and bold, white Shasta logo that stands out against the blue backdrop, capturing attention from afar. Each tent panel showcases different Shasta flavors, highlighting the brand's wide beverage variety.
On either side of the tent, branded water coolers with a playful pink-and-white polka-dot design enhance Shasta's retro, fun style, prominently featuring "Shasta Raspberry Creme" in colorful, energetic typography that complements the overall aesthetic. Altogether, this cohesive setup creates a visually engaging experience that perfectly reflects Shasta’s vibrant brand identity.
The bright sky-blue T-shirts feature the bold slogan "IT HASTA BE SHASTA" in large, white text, making the Shasta brand instantly recognizable and enhancing visibility at events while aligning with the brand’s fresh, summery image. The playful font reflects Shasta’s energetic personality, fostering a positive consumer connection and reinforcing brand recall.
Vibrant, strategically designed coupons highlight Shasta’s wide range of flavors, sparking curiosity among attendees, with a “BUY ONE GET ONE FREE” offer that encourages immediate trial and purchase, thus driving both awareness and conversions.
Additionally, the branded cooler, emblazoned with the slogan and Shasta's social media handles, serves as a functional yet eye-catching branding tool, reinforcing Shasta’s fun, refreshing image and encouraging online engagement. Positioned alongside brand ambassadors, these elements work cohesively to create a strong, memorable experience for consumers.
